At Home in the San Juan Islands!

Taking the ferry to the Islands was an weekend adventure when I was a kid growing up in western Washington. Those journeys remained an idyllic memory after my family moved to Alaska and I headed to California. Twenty-some years later, wistful thoughts of rugged mountains, clear skies, and sparkling blue water inspired a boating vacation through the Salish Sea. As we cruised in the pristine waterways, breathing salty air, enchanted by the quaint harbors and villages, I could not stop smiling. In 1997, I felt compelled to "come home" to the northwest. That is a decision I've never regretted! The San Juan Islands offer an incomparable lifestyle in a truly unique environment. The community is welcoming, inclusive, and eclectic. One can hike or kayak in solitude or participate in numerous organizations and activities. I do both. When "off island" I enjoy the contrast of road trips, bustling cities, and overseas travel. Experience, Insight, Savvy. My business background includes technology sales, marketing, and management positions in the Bay Area and ownership of an office equipment dealership in San Diego. Shortly after the fateful vacation in the San Juan's, the company was sold and I relocated to the Islands, where a passion for residential design led to a second career in real estate. There's almost nothing I'd rather do than share the discovery of home and investment possibilities.
